Developing and growing recovery program is important, but so as being an active member ERAS community. You can be an active part of the ERAS Cardiac Society’s mission in the following ways.
Share advice related to building a successful program.
Enhanced recovery program development and optimizing patient-care offer opportunities for success, as well as challenges. Learning form one another as a global community helps us all do a better job for our patients.
Submit content for publication in the ERAS Cardiac Society Newsletter.
We accept submissions for our Newsletter from members of the global ERAS community. If you would like to contribute an article, please email editor at newsletter@erascardiac.org.
Become an ERAS Cardiac Centre of Excellence.
Currently, the ERAS Cardiac Society does not certify programs as Centres of Excellence. It is too challenging at this time to determine what defines a Center of Excellence in a transparent, objective, and equitable fashion.
In the future, we may explore opportunities to allow institutions with mature, successful programs to function as educational mentors to other institutions. The process for this initiative has yet to be determined.
We will email individuals on our mailing list if we have any developments in either a Centers of Excellence or institutional mentorship program.
